Private Client Tax Manager

The opportunity

We're delighted to present a Private Client Tax Manager role at a dynamic mid-tier firm in London's West End. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious CTA qualified professional to lead a portfolio of high-net-worth and owner-managed business clients, working closely with Partners and delivering both compliance and advisory services across a genuinely diverse and rewarding client base.

What you'll be doing

• Managing a portfolio of approximately 100 predominantly HNWI and OMB clients, building strong relationships and providing expert, timely advice face to face, by phone and email
• Working collaboratively with other Managers, senior staff and Partners to meet all deadlines and client expectations, flagging any delivery issues early
• Providing proactive and innovative solutions to clients' taxation requirements, both compliance and advisory
• Delegating, training and supervising junior staff, reviewing their work and providing constructive feedback
• Managing WIP, billing and recoverability for your portfolio
• Attending new business meetings and assisting with client proposals
• Regularly updating Partners on client issues and managing their input as appropriate

What we're looking for

• CTA qualified with strong technical knowledge and commercial awareness
• Experience managing a diverse client portfolio and delivering quality work on time and within budget
• Proven ability to review others' work, provide feedback and support, and train junior staff
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical matters clearly to clients
• Self-starter with strong workload management, interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for client service
• Confident, ambitious and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
