About This Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a boutique accounting practice as a Corporate Tax Manager or Senior Manager in London. You will take a lead role in reviewing corporate tax returns and progressively assume responsibility for the corporate tax function. The role offers genuine career progression through an emerging leaders programme, with potential to move into senior management and partnership. You'll work across complex corporate structures while developing advisory capabilities and client relationships alongside the tax partner.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and manage corporate tax returns for clients across various industries and structures
- Lead the corporate tax function, overseeing compliance and strategic tax planning
- Provide corporate tax advisory services to clients, including share reorganisations and capital allowances planning
- Develop and maintain client relationships through regular contact and professional engagement
- Support M&A transactions and advise on Pillar 2 compliance matters
- Contribute to personal tax work during peak periods, particularly the January busy season
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to the development of the corporate tax team
Requirements
- ✓Substantial genuine corporate tax experience, ideally including group structures and complex tax matters
- ✓ACA or ACCA qualification (CTA not essential but relevant experience valued)
- ✓Proven experience with share reorganisations, share buybacks, groups, capital allowances and QIPs
- ✓Ability to take charge of a corporate tax function and manage client portfolios
- ✓Willingness to engage in advisory work and client-facing responsibilities
